Primary Care Oral Surgery courses : Dates, Fees and Open Days

The new Cohort for the Diploma in Primary Care Oral Surgery will commence in September 2021.

In March 2020, in agreement with the 4 surgical Royal Colleges, it was agreed that we would be postponing all exams and courses until September as a result of the Covid-19 outbreak, although this will be re-reviewed on a regular basis.

FGDP(UK) and all the teaching faculty would wish to reassure candidates that any dates that are cancelled will be rescheduled once we are able to do so. It is also likely that we will need to review the current deadline for completion of the current programmes as clearly this unforeseen circumstance impacts on the ability for us to deliver the course, or for you as clinicians to practice in the usual way, and it would be unreasonable for many candidates to be able to complete the course under the normal timescale. As the Covid-19 crisis develops we will be in a better position to clarify what any delays or postponement in teaching, may mean. Our tutors will try their best to continue to be available for any advice or guidance that may be required in the meantime.

If you are considering applying for our programmes, we recommend registering your interest, and we will be in touch when we are able to confirm the resumption of the courses in September. If you have registered for any of our programmes which are due to start in September, we will keep you updated directly.

At this difficult time, the thoughts of the Faulty are with you. If you have any queries about our programmes, contact us at:
