New dates and member discounts for FGDP(UK) Study Days

New dates have been set for three FGDP(UK) Study Days which have been postponed due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic, and FGDP(UK) Members can currently combine early registration and membership rates to achieve a discount of up to two-thirds on the full price.

 

The FGDP(UK) North West Study Day in Manchester has been moved to Saturday 27 March 2021, rescheduled from 13 November 2020.

Dr Serpil Djemal will present on the subject of dental trauma, and Ian Dunn (Course Lead for the FGDP(UK) Short Course in Periodontics) will discuss 'perio in practice'. Registration is now open, with discounted rates of £129 for FGDP(UK) members, £259 for non-members and £109 for concessions ending on Sunday 30 AugustFurther information and registration are available here.

 

The FGDP(UK) Northern Study Day in Gateshead will now take place on Friday 19 November 2021.

Entitled No more nails - The ultimate guide to complete dentures, Dr James Field will be sharing his knowledge and expertise, and providing guidance on providing suitable care for patients with prosthodontics. The FGDP(UK) Northern Division serves members in Northumberland, Newcastle, Tyne and Wear, Durham, Teesside and Cumbria, and the division welcomes members and non-members alike to its study days. For further information, contact FGDPnorthern@gmail.com.

 

The next FGDP(UK) Scotland Study Day will take place in Glasgow on Friday 3 December 2021, rescheduled from 4 December 2020.

Professors Iain Chapple and John Whitworth will be sharing the latest research and developments on treatments for perio and endodontics, and Steve Bonsor will be delivering the Caldwell Memorial Lecture. Organised by the FGDP(UK) West of Scotland Division, this popular event typically sees around 400 dental professionals from across and beyond Scotland gather for six hours of CPD, and with a three-course lunch and drinks reception included, marks the start of the festive season. Registration is now open at the 'Early Bird' rates of £99 for FGDP(UK) members and £249 for non-members, with concessions from £79.
