The Diploma in Primary Care Orthodontics is a three year part-time course run by the British Orthodontic Society (BOS) and FGDP(UK) for primary care dentists with an interest in orthodontics but who have had no formal training in orthodontics.
Applicants for the course director post will hold a specialist orthodontic qualification e.g. MOrth and be active in clinical or academic practice. Ideally they will have experience of teaching/training and assessing dentists at postgraduate level.
The next cohort of participants will commence in October 2012 and the course director will need to begin preparatory work in June 2012. Full administrative support and experience is provided by the FGDP(UK) Education team
Up to 75 sessions (half day) at the guild rate can be claimed per year.
