The Faculty of General Dental Practice (UK) has announced that its Members can now benefit from free online access to two more leading peer-reviewed dental journals, the British Dental Journal and Evidence-Based Dentistry.

Both published by Nature, the British Dental Journal is well known to general dental practitioners as the official journal of the British Dental Association, and Evidence-Based Dentistry aims to bridge the gap between research and dental practice, and alert clinicians to advances in dentistry.

Other dental journals already available to FGDP(UK) Members include:

  • Clinical Oral Implants Research
  • Dental Materials
  • International Journal of Oral Science
  • Journal of Clinical Periodontology
  • Journal of Dental Research
  • Journal of Dentistry
  • Journal of Periodontology
  • Oral Oncology
  • Periodontology 2000

Members and Fellows of the FGDP(UK) can access the journals through their OpenAthens account.  To set one up, email library.athens@rcseng.ac.uk using the email address registered to your FGDP(UK) membership.

MJDF Members, Joint Members and Joint Fellows can access the journals through the e-library of the Royal College of Surgeons of England using their RCS login.
