Assessors required for FGDP(UK) Fellowship award

Fellowship of the Faculty of General Dental Practice (UK) of the Royal College of Surgeons is an award made to members of the Faculty in recognition of the high standards they have achieved as a primary care dentist.

To demonstrate suitability for Fellowship of the Faculty, candidates submit a portfolio containing evidence of the quality of their practice and their achievements in the domain(s) they have chosen. candidates must also attend a peer review discussion.

The role of Fellowship Assessors will be to evaluate candidates through peer review discussions and by assessing completed portfolios.

The role does not attract a salary, however, all related travel and subsistence costs will be paid in line with FGDP(UK) policy.

Applicants should be:

  • Registered with the General Dental Council (GDC).
  • A Fellow of the Faculty of General Dental Practice (UK) by assessment or equivalent
  • In good standing with the GDC and the FGDP(UK).
