Quentin has served the FGDP since his election as North Wales Divisional Secretary in 1992 and has wide experience in hospital, community, dental research and general dental practice; including running his own mixed VT/DF1 training (15 years) and implant prosthetics referral practice for over twenty years in Swansea.

As well as being first and foremost a GDP, he has served as Head of Community Dental Services for Powys Healthcare NHS Trust, held hospital oral surgery and restorative roles leading to membership by election of the BSSPD, European Prosthodontic Association EPA and European Academy of Sleep Medicine where he was elected its first president. He has served on NICE, sat on editorial board of Sleep and Breathing Journal for over ten years and taught on the Cardiff postgraduate implant courses for over 15 years. Latterly he has enjoyed teaching undergraduates at Cardiff Dental School while supporting the digital and biotechnology revolution with Renishaw Plc and the Mineralized Tissue Research group at Cardiff University.  He has represented FGDP at DoH, HEE, COPDEND and other meetings. He is currently Chairperson of Y Gymdeithas Ddeintyddol - (the dental society of Wales).

Quentin was awarded DGDP RCS England 1993 and MPhil - removable prosthodontics from the University of Wales College of Medicine 1993.
