Treatments for Younger Patients (2 for 1 CPD evening)

Join us for our CPD evening covering two areas of practice for the price of one- adhesive dentistry, and hypomineralised teeth.  Hear from our experienced speakers on how you can improve the quality of care for your young patients. 

Speaker: Mr. AJ Ray–Chaudhuri

Learning objectives for Adhesive Dentistry in the Younger Patient:   

To improve practitioners’ ability to provide adhesive bridges in younger patients

To improve practitioners’ ability to plan and execute direct restorations in younger patients

 

GDC Learning outcomes:

A -  Effective communication with patients, the dental team and others  across dentistry, including when obtaining consent, dealing with complaints, and raising concerns when patients are at risk.

C -  Maintenance and development of knowledge and skill within your field of practice.

Learning objectives for Management of Hypomineralised Teeth in Children:

To improve practitioners’ knowledge of the prevalence of hypomineralised teeth in children.

To improve practitioners’ ability to diagnose hypomineralised teeth in children.

To improve practitioners’ ability to manage simple hypomineralisation of teeth in children.

To improve practitioner’s understanding of when to refer for a Specialist opinion.

 

GDC outcomes:

C -  Maintenance and development of knowledge and skill within your field of practice.
