This event is fantastic for showcasing the power of endodontics and how new advances can be used to obtain the best outcomes for your patients.
It has become increasingly clear that it is preferable to retain a natural tooth rather than elect for its removal and replacement so long as the tooth is restorable and periodontally viable. With already excellent success rates for our conventional root canal treatment having endodontic microsurgery as a back-up option gives the general dentist huge confidence in the ability to achieve endodontic success. Definitive restorative work can be completed immediately following initial treatment without the need for long term temporisation. Also where expensive well fitting restorative dentistry has already been completed, microsurgery can provide a "get out of jail solution". It is an excellent option to eliminate symptoms and pathology without the need to dismantle bridge or post/crown restoration.

How to decide when a tooth can be saved by endo-microsurgery
To be aware of the new micro-surgical techniques and why these new techniques have resulted in such a substantial improvement in success rates
How contemporary endodontic techniques combined with microsurgery can result in success rates greater than 90%

He then completed hands-on implant courses. He lectures and gives hands-on courses in contemporary endodontics and microsurgical endodontics for general dentists and endodontists in London.
