Minimally Invasive Dentistry, Orofacial Pain and Leadership

Caldwell Lecture speakers: Ewan Carmichael, Sami Stagnell and Laura Milby

Our speakers will include two of the most prominent dentists in the UK and a line-up of speakers with experience in leadership. Tara Renton and Avijit Banerjee will present in-depth content on the latest in orofacial pain and minimally invasive dentistry respectively. To close the day our panel will debate a wide range of issues relating to leadership with interactive options for the delegates.

Contemporary management of the deep carious lesion

Aims & objectives:

In his thought-provoking presentation, the internationally regarded expert in Cariology & Operative Dentistry will outline the modern management concepts for treating the deep carious lesion in an adult. He will describe / illustrate the use of some of the clinical operative techniques and bio-interactive materials available to restore teeth with appropriate clinical tips.

Tara Renton

Management and Diagnosis of Chronic Orofacial pain and case examples (provisional)

Aims & objectives:

To provide a review of our understanding of trigeminal pain and highlight pragmatic classification. To provide a structure for differential diagnosis of trigeminal pain and up to date diagnostic criteria.

 

The event takes place at Glasgow Science Centre and during the day delegates will benefit from superb catering including a three-course lunch and post-event drinks, six hours of CPDA and a 30-stand trade exhibition. There is free parking for delegates during the event. 

Registration is from 8.15am with tea, coffee and breakfast rolls. Presentations run from 9am until 5.15 with two coffee breaks and a three-course lunch. Following the event there will be a relaxed drinks reception until 7.15pm.
