The research committee of the Faculty are actively trying to kick start interest in research within general dental practice. This can take a number of forms, ranging from data collection and product appraisal to full study design and overview. With the size of our workforce, we have a tremendous asset, which can allow meaningful primary care research.

We are actively trying to gauge the interest in research and to encourage as many as possible to participate in research.

We would appreciate if you could spare a few minutes to give us some idea of the interest and experience out there at the coalface.

The Faculty maintains a research database as a resource for all research workers involved in primary dental care research. If you would like to register your interest in research in primary dental care (including general dental practice), or update your details please complete this form.

This information will be held in accordance with the Data Protection Act, however these details will be passed to other interested parties of specific collaborative projects.
