Financial Support & Scholarships
The Faculty is continually looking for ways in which to provide financial support through awards or grants.
BSGDS Scholarship Award 2008 – up to £7,000
Held in association with the British Society for General Dental Surgery, this is for a single research project in primary dental care carried out by a general dental practitioner over a period of two years.
Applications are invited for the 2008 BSGDS Scholarship Award which is administered by the Faculty of General Dental Practice (UK). The award of up to £7,000 for a single project is for research in primary dental care.
Applications should be submitted in the form of a research protocol.

Guidance notes are available to help complete the research protocol.
If you would like to submit a protocol with an outline of the costs that would be involved, the deadline for the award is 9 June 2008.
