Standards publications

The FGDP(UK) currently publishes five books of clinical standards for general practice. More details are given below. All five books are available as a set for the discount price of £100 for FGDP(UK) members, and £125 for non-members.

 

Standards in Dentistry is a comprehensive collection of all previous standards and guidelines in oral healthcare, covering both primary and secondary care. It is accompanied by the web-based Guidelines for Structure and Process in Dental Practice, and all purchasers receive regular updates.

Now in its second edition (published September 2009), the book also includes a series of extensive appendices, including charting notes and template forms, and a series of scenarios to put the guidance into context.
