“Reflection in Practice” for DCPs

The FGDP(UK) is shortly to launch a new distance learning programme for DCPs titled “Reflection in Practice”. This online course supports DCPs in developing skills in reflection that are vital to continual improvement in standards of patient care. “Reflection in Practice” is ideal preparation for any DCP considering undertaking the Key Skills or other post-qualification programme of study. “Reflection in Practice” will be available through FGDP(UK)’s new Touchstone online portfolio from early September. New FGDP(UK) Website

FGDP(UK) last week launched its new website (www.fgdp.org.uk). All members should have received log in details for the website, enabling access to members only content. If you have not received these details or you are having problems logging in please email webupdate-fgdp@rcseng.ac.uk.

Royal College of Surgeons News

The Hunterian Museum is currently running an exhibition entitled Sir John Tomes: Victorian Dental Pioneer. On Saturday 14th August from 12 noon to 4pm the Hunterian is hosting a free, hands-on dentistry fun day.
