FGDP(UK) Career Pathway Away Day 2008

15 February 2008

After the success of last February’s Career Pathway Open Day at The Royal College of Surgeons in London, it has been decided to repeat the event, this time in Birmingham.

The three-stage Career Pathway serves as a career development framework for the general dental care practitioner is designed to support career-long learning and professional development with respect to postgraduate training. Completion of the three stages leads to the Fellowship of the Faculty (FFGDP[UK]). The event aims to provide essential information about the Career Pathway, as well as guidance on progressing through the stages and building up credits.

The day’s programme includes presentations on the structure and benefits of the Career Pathway, the opportunity to meet providers of Career Pathway-accredited postgraduate courses, and up-to-date information for current Career Pathway participants.
