Members' online resources

Members-only resources on the website

Throughout the FGDP(UK) website there are resources that are only viewable to members of the FGDP(UK). A username and password to access these resources are provided to FGDP(UK) members soon after they join the Faculty.

Faculty members can enter their username and password either in the login boxes on the home page or on the left hand side of every page of the website. Alternatively, members can browse through the site and, should they click on a resource available to members only, enter their login details where prompted.

Once a member has logged in the page will remain unchanged except for the appearance of a 'Logout' link in the top right hand area of the page. Members should click on this link to logout when they leave the site.

The members-only resources on this website include:

• Team in Practice quarterly journal and CPD quiz
• First-Hand - the FGDP(UK)'s quarterly members' newsletter
• FGDP(UK)'s Critical Appraisal Pack
• Resources for the Fellowship diploma (Candidates Guide and Practice Questionnaire)
• Details of how to access member discounts at Oxford Unversity Press, Pas Test and hotels

Resources available to members through the RCS (Athens)

In addition to members-only content on the FGDP(UK) website, Faculty members also have access to resources available via The Royal College of Surgeons of England, where the FGDP(UK) is based. Access to these RCS resources is via an Athens login, which is also provided upon joining the FGDP(UK) as a member in addition to the FGDP(UK) website login.
