About Team in Practice
Welcome to Team in Practice, a continuing professional development (CPD) journal for all members of the dental team and produced by the Faculty of General Dental Practice (UK), written by dental care professionals (DCPs) for DCPs.
The aim of the journal is to update all members of the dental team on topics that affect them all in an enjoyable and innovative manner. This will be achieved by presenting a series of scenarios in which things have gone wrong, analysing why the problem arose and what could have been done to avoid the situation, with a strong focus on peer learning and best practice.
Team in Practice is produced quarterly and is available only to Faculty members and subscribers.
DCP Affiliate members of the Faculty are able to claim 3 hours of verifiable CPD from each issue by answering questions on the content of the articles in the online quiz which accompanies the journal, making a total of 12 hours of verifiable CPD per year. (Non-member subscribers are not able to claim CPD hours.)
