About DCP associations
The associations listed below are all currently represented on the FGDP(UK) DCP Advisory Board.
British Association of Dental Nurses (BADN)
The British Association of Dental Nurses is committed to the representation of all dental nurses - whether working in general practice, hospital, community, the armed forces, industry, practice management or reception.
The Association represents dental nurses at all levels and has representatives on the National Examining Board, the Dental Nurses Standards and Training Advisory Board and its Registration Committee, and the Joint Consultative Committee.

British Association of Dental Therapists (BADT)
The objectives of the British Association of Dental Therapists are:
- To promote the interests and well being of BADT members
- To promote co-operation and to provide a channel of communication between the members of the Association
- To promote the study and advancement of knowledge in the field of work carried out by dental therapists
- To liaise with other professional bodies
- To encourage the promotion of oral health in the community.
Membership is available to those holding the dental therapy qualification, and to student dental therapists whilst in training.

British Dental Hygienists' Association (BDHA)
Membership of the BDHA is open to all UK qualified dental hygienists. The BDHA's website contains information for patients and the profession, as well as a members' only area.

British Dental Practice Managers Association (BDPMA)
The BDPMA offers a support network for dental practice managers. The BDPMA's website provides practice managers with a range of useful information.

Clinical Dental Technicians' Association (CDTA)
The Clinical Dental Technicians' Association represents, both politically and educationally, qualified dental technicians who wish to both manufacture and fit removable dental appliances such as dentures.

Dental Technicians' Association (DTA)
The objectives of the DTA include:
- Providing an organisation to support the development of the dental technology profession
- Encouraging and promoting education, including CPD, for dental technicians
- Forging links with other bodies or organisations for the benefit of dental technicians and patients
- Promoting DTA views to Government, relevant groups, service providers and the public
- Adopting and sharing best practice enabling dental technology to take a wider participative role in the oral healthcare of the nation.
The DTA's website aims to be an information centre for dental technicians and includes information for dental technology students.
