Preparing for Practice Appraisal

This professional short course has been developed in partnership between FGDP(UK) and University of Portsmouth and aims to improve dental professionals abilities in applying key theories and professional practice, in leading and managing people effectively to ensure a high standard of patient safety in the modern practice.

The aim of the course is to assist you in keeping your practice up to date in relation to compliance and ensure your practice is ready for any inspection at any time by a regulatory body.

Upon successful completion of the course, you will be able to demonstrate a range of transferable skills including policy writing, appraisal, the ability to communicate and argue complex ideas taking into account policies and the role of stakeholders such as the Care Quality Commission (CQC).
