Mentoring is becoming an increasingly valuable skill in dentistry, which can at times be a challenging profession. Dental professionals working in primary dental care often make vital decisions about their patients and career development in relative isolation. Mentoring skills can enable colleagues to support each other and engaged and well-supported dental professionals ultimately benefit patients.
