Jerry Read, Head of Oral Health and Dental Education at the Department of Health (DH), was honoured by the Faculty of Dental Surgery and the Faculty of General Dental Practice (UK) at their joint Diplomates Ceremony held on 1 April 2011, receiving a Special Service Award to recognise his outstanding contribution to the faculties and to dentistry as a whole.
