About the FGDP(UK)'s Divisions
The work of the Faculty is delivered through 21 divisions across the UK. This divisional structure exists to offer local support and facilitate members' access to Faculty services and other local educational networks. As a member, you will be 'assigned' to a division, or you can select a division, depending on the area you live or work in.
The Faculty's Divisions across the UK
Your local FGDP(UK) division can assist you in the following ways:
- Gaining CPD hours via study days, updates, masterclasses and other divisional events
- Preparing for the MFGDP(UK) examination or Fellowship of the Faculty (the FFGDP(UK)) through a network of divisional diploma tutors and Career Pathway mentors
- Receiving support, advice and information for research projects via divisional research coordinators
- Providing the opportunity to network with your peers and local study groups.
If you are currently a member of the Faculty, please check that you are aware of the division you belong to. If you don't receive regular mailings or updates from them, please contact Amrita Narain on 020 7869 6750 or anarain@rcseng.ac.uk.
Also, don't forget to tell us if your work or home address changes so you are assigned to the division that is most convenient for you.
